The other day at 'This Morning' the lovely Diana came and sat in my make up chair (beating up clients is not provided in my services). Unfortunately Diana's dog pulled her over, resulting in a rather dramatic bruise. Fortunately for me I was able to whip out my Derma pallet and practice a bit of correction make up!
Dermacolour - A must for any budding young make up artist. Has the ability to hide a multitude of sins..
#TBT! Throwing back to last Thursday (is that nostalgic enough? ) where I worked alongside a fabulous hair team to create the scalp tinglingly tight high pony-tails for this years Fashion Final year students at Middlesex University.
Generally when the words neat, slick, perfect and pristine are required for a certain look, a SULA is sure to follow. (Sweaty Upper Lip Alert).
However in this case my SULA was kept on hold after discovering Leo Bancroft's 'Ponytail Bungee Bands!'. I have never experienced the process of creating a slicked ponytail with such ease.
I wish my 13 year old self had known about this revelation..
Being the prompt and privvy' make up artist that I am, I very nearly made a spectacle of myself by making a subtle attempt to try and powder the Madame Tussauds version of 'Jack and Vera'.
In my defence.. I couldn't see that Vera was missing limbs.
This was one of the most elating productions I have worked on, we had west end musical stars, glitter, Gok Wan, The Feeling, Erasure. Possibly the campest day I have ever encountered... I basked in every minute of it!
Finally I managed to achieve a decent glossy finger waved inspired do! Had a wee' challenge with myself trying to do something remotely neat! - After paddle brushing the hell out of Hannah's lovely locks. we were left with a reminiscent screen siren-esque' outcome. PHEWF.

These are the results of a successful shoot on Saturday with the lovely Dani Riot! I haven't shot with Dani for 2 years since my winning work for 'Paperself', it was a pleasure to be back.. This was one of 3 looks, so watch out to be continued...
